This policy explains how Copydock, provided by Bedrock Group LLC, handles information. It covers the iPhone and iPad app, its keyboard and widgets, and this support website.

Clipboard content stays with you

Copydock stores saved text, links, images, and preferences in its protected app storage on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your clipboard library. The app does not require an account and includes no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. We do not sell clipboard content or use it to train AI models.

Clipboard capture happens while Copydock is active and capture is enabled. iOS may ask for permission to paste. The app checks for a new clipboard change before reading content. Recognized sensitive or password markers are skipped. iOS does not identify every password, so an unmarked secret may be treated as ordinary text. You can turn off Capture on open in Settings.

Keyboard and widgets

Extensions read a local snapshot of accessible saved clips. The keyboard does not send your clips or typing to us and uses no network service, including when Full Access is enabled. Full Access supports clipboard fallback and image copying. Content you insert or paste into another app is handled by that app under its own policy. Some apps and secure fields do not allow third-party keyboards.

When you enable the device authentication lock, Copydock hides clip content from its keyboard and widget snapshots. Apple controls widget refresh timing. Authentication is performed by the device; Copydock does not receive biometric templates or your device passcode.

Optional iCloud backup

Pro includes an optional backup to your own iCloud Drive. It is off by default. If enabled, Apple stores a copy of your clips and images through iCloud under your Apple Account. We do not receive that backup. Apple's privacy policy and iCloud terms apply.

Turning backup off stops future backups but does not remove a backup already saved in iCloud Drive. You can remove the Copydock backup file from iCloud Drive. Restoring a backup replaces the local library after confirmation. Copydock's local library files are excluded from automatic device backups.

Purchases

Apple handles payment information and App Store transactions. Copydock uses StoreKit to verify your purchase status and unlock features. We do not receive your card details. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew unless cancelled through your Apple Account; Lifetime is a one-time purchase.

Retention and your choices

You can delete individual clips, clear history, or export accessible text clips from the app. Exports and content you share are under your control. If Pro expires, extra clips, extra pins, and images remain stored but locked until Pro is active again. They are not automatically deleted because your subscription ends.

Removing the app removes its local app data through iOS. Copies you exported, pasted into another app, or stored in iCloud may remain until you remove them separately. We cannot remotely read, recover, or delete your local clipboard library.

Support and this website

If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to send so we can respond. Please do not send passwords, sensitive clipboard content, or payment details. We keep support correspondence only as needed to address your request and maintain relevant support records.

This website uses no advertising or analytics scripts. Our hosting provider processes ordinary connection information, such as IP address and browser request details, to serve and secure the pages. Opening a web link from the app makes a normal request to that website. Third-party sites have their own privacy policies.

Children

Copydock does not ask for age or personal profiles. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through support. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
